What happens when a paintbrush slips and leaves a smudge of bright yellow across a blue background? In our studio, we don't erase it, erase the canvas, or panic. Instead, we pause, take a breath, and ask: "What could this yellow spot become?"
Suddenly, that accidental smudge turns into a glowing sun, a buzzing honeybee, or a splash of magical light. When a clay bowl collapses slightly on one side, it becomes a rustic, organic sculpture with character and personality.
When children learn to stop fearing mistakes, a massive weight lifts off their shoulders. They stop comparing their work to the person sitting next to them and start trusting their own creative voice.
